What are we if we do not try? What are we if we do not try? What are we if we do not try? by ~Monarch-of-the-Fen
To be lived is for what life was meant:
We have only time before we die.
Determined strokes are how to fly
The lashing storms of our intent:
What are we if we do not try?
Yet time and time, we sit and sigh,
Do only what will pay the rent:
Oh, so much time until we die.
And in lifes currents, let drift by
Opportunities heaven-sent:
What difference even if we try?
Till one aged day we look back, cry,
And wonder where the time all went:
So little time until we die.
Excuses cover this with lies:
To be lived is for what life was meant.
What are we if we do not try?
We have only time
its you! terry!
so. yeah. hey.
Baah. You can draw as well as write. I'm going to go off and sulk.

They called me hyacinth girl.
I thought I was a never-get-things-done type, but you've got me beat. I look forward to reading more of your writing some time before I become a grandmother.

(Also, I appear to have inadvertantly deleted one of your comments off my work. Argh, I'm hopeless lol. But thankyou for commenting!)
